Gibberish alert! The 6 clip art pictures most likely to accompany management jargon

Can you remember the thrill of first inserting clip art pictures into Word documents, presentations and emails?  Amazing! As good as Ceefax! I still like to see innocent clip art type pictures in community newsletters and amateur documents.

But is there something anti- illustrative about the ones below? Take a look at reports in most organisations and you’ll see them. We dump them into documents with dead eyes to accompany already worn out and meaningless prose about working together, partnership, making links and joint services. What’s wrong with us? When I see these pictures, I think of nothing. Or slightly less than nothing. Have they replaced meaning? What would George Orwell say?
