I’ve 
received a few of these out of office messages. They surprised me and made me laugh so I thought I would share them and add some more.
- Meetings meetings meetings! Will get back to you as soon as I can.
- Thank you for your email. I may or may not reply when I return.
- I am currently in the office ignoring emails.
- Thank you for your intelligent, witty, well judged email. Yours will be the first I reply to when I return.
- Thank you for your email. When I come back, I will complain about having 300 emails. Yours will be one of them.
- I am currently on holiday, probably in a queue for quiche at a wildlife park. Looking forward to returning to work on 28th May.
- Thanks for your email. I LOVE emails!
- Thank you for your email. When I return, I will prioritise my replies based on fear of punishment and shame.
- I hand- typed this Out of Office message. It’s not automatic. Everyone else is getting a reply.
- I know what you’re up to.
I’m Microsoft Exchange. When sending this message telling you to reply to someone else, I didn’t bother setting the Reply-To header!
